Course Summary: Green Technology Compliance

This course introduces students to the fundamental concepts of green technology, sustainability, and environmental responsibility in various sectors. The course begins with an introduction to green fundamentals, including green goals, climate change impacts, environmental regulations, biodiversity preservation, pollution control, carbon management, and sustainable use of natural resources. Students will understand the importance of green applications in supporting environmental protection and sustainable development.

The course also covers the introduction to green technology and practices in several important sectors such as energy, green buildings, transportation, waste and wastewater management, as well as agriculture and forestry. Students will learn about renewable energy, energy efficiency, green building systems, sustainable transportation, recycling processes, wastewater treatment, and environmentally friendly agricultural and forestry practices. In addition, students are exposed to the application and implementation of green technologies in related industries and daily life.

Furthermore, this course explains the concept and implementation of the green economy through sustainable consumption and production, green procurement, and eco-labeling practices. The course also highlights the importance of green culture programmes such as environmental awareness campaigns, green communities, and sustainable practices. Students will also explore the challenges in implementing green culture, including public awareness, mindset changes, funding issues, policy development, and industry recognition.

Overall, this course aims to develop students’ understanding, awareness, and responsibility towards environmental sustainability while encouraging the application of green technology and green practices for a better and sustainable future.


DVI20032 TECHNICAL DRAWING

TECHNICAL DRAWING develops scale and abilities to read and produce technical drawing. Students should be able to apply the skill and knowledge of technical drawing to interpret design using geometric orthographic, isometric and detail drawing. 

DVI 30104 COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN (CAD)

CAD is a modelling, rendering and technical software package for industrial design.  This programme focuses on software interfaces, technical drawings, special drawing applications, 3- Dimensional CAD features, 3-dimensional modelling and rendering.
