SUSTAINABLE TOURISM MANAGEMENT exposes students to the techniques in managing tourism resources or hospitality premises in reducing the negative impact of tourism development. Students are exposed to the sustainable concept such as green tourism, eco-tourism and eco-hotel. Besides, students will gain knowledge of conservation and preservation, carrying capacity, environmental impact assessment and visitor planning and management used to minimize the negative impacts caused by tourism development activities. Students are also exposed to organize activities that enhance the understanding of sustainable tourism development knowledge especially in planning, management skills, delivering quality and practicing good values in tourism establishment.
